Journey from Ayodhya to Lanka: A Game of Vardaans, Valor, and Victory

Live Ram's epic adventure through five legendary stages—Gurukul, Swayamvar, Vanvas, Ram Setu, and the Battle of Lanka. Collect divine Vardaan power cards, outsmart your opponents, defeat the ten-headed Raavan, and race back to Ayodhya victorious. This isn't just a board game. It's the Ramayan you can play.

Vardaan Power Cards = Game-Changing Moves

Hanuman's leap? Use it to jump ahead on the board. Lakshman's protection? Block your opponent's attack. Vishwamitra's blessing? Crush Gurukul challenges instantly. Jatayu's sacrifice? Turn a losing position into a comeback. You'll collect these divine powers throughout your journey—the trick is knowing when to use them. Burn them early and you're toast in Lanka. Hold them too long and someone else wins.

Five Stages, Five Epic Chapters

Gurukul: Master divine weapons and warrior training. Collect your first Vardaans here.

Swayamvar: String Shiva's impossible bow to win Sita's hand. Precision matters.

Vanvas: Fourteen years of forest exile. Demons. Obstacles. Tests of dharma. Things get real.

Ram Setu: Build the legendary bridge across the ocean with Hanuman's monkey army.

Battle of Lanka: The final showdown. Raavan's ten heads versus your collected Vardaans. Winner takes all.

Why Parents Are Losing Their Minds Over This

"Finally, a board game that pulls my kids away from screens! We ended up playing for 3 hours without realizing." — Ritika S.

Kids who couldn't care less about mythology suddenly want to know everything about Hanuman's powers, why Raavan had ten heads, how Ram defeated him. The game makes the Ramayan stick better than any book or lecture. Grandparents love explaining the Vardaan cards. Parents love the strategy. Kids love winning. Everyone wins.

The Strategy Is Real (Adults Get Competitive Too)

One customer's 9-year-old daughter beat her dad three games straight by hoarding all her Vardaans for the final Lanka battle. He's still salty about it. This isn't a dumbed-down kids' game—the Vardaan power system creates genuine tactical depth that keeps adults engaged and plotting revenge.

Cultural Education That Doesn't Feel Like Homework

By the time you've played a few rounds, you know the Ramayan story, understand dharma, recognize all the gods and heroes, and can explain why Ram had to build a bridge to Lanka. For NRI families raising kids in USA, UK, Canada, or Australia—this is gold. Your kid won't remember the mythology PowerPoint. But they'll remember the game where they used Hanuman's card to win in the final turn.

Premium Quality You Can Feel

Gorgeous wooden foldable board showing all five journey stages with traditional Indian artwork. Solid wooden pawns and die. Beautifully illustrated Vardaan cards featuring deity artwork. Frequently Asked Questions

My kid doesn't know the Ramayan story. Will they still enjoy this?

Even better! The game teaches the story as they play. No prior knowledge needed. The rulebook explains each stage, the Challenge cards reference key events, and you'll naturally explain things as they come up. Most customers tell us their kids learned MORE from playing this than from books or school lessons.

Is this too religious? We're not a very religious family.

It's more cultural than religious. Think of it like playing a game based on Greek mythology—you don't have to worship Zeus to enjoy it. The Ramayan is India's greatest story, and this game brings it to life through strategy and gameplay. Many secular families love it for the cultural education and family bonding.

Will adults actually enjoy this or is it just for kids?

Adults get INTO it. The Vardaan power card system creates real strategic decisions—when to use your cards, which challenges to attempt, whether to play defensively or aggressively. We've had grandparents, parents, and older siblings all report getting competitive. One dad told us he lost to his 9-year-old daughter three times and is still plotting revenge.

How long does a game actually take?

45-60 minutes typically. Some games finish faster if someone gets lucky with Vardaan cards. Strategic players might take the full hour. The sweet spot where kids stay engaged but there's enough time for epic comebacks and dramatic finishes.

My child is 5 years old. Too young?

The box says 7+ because younger kids need help reading the Challenge cards. But plenty of 5-6 year olds play with parents reading cards aloud. If your kid can follow basic board game rules (roll die, move pieces, take turns), they can play with a little help. By age 7-8, they'll play independently.

Can 2 people play or do we need a full group?

Works great with 2 players—more head-to-head competitive. With 3-4 players, you get more interaction, alliances, and chaos. Both are fun, just different vibes. The game mechanics work smoothly at any player count.

Is this good for return gifts at birthday parties?

Perfect for return gifts. It's substantial (not cheap-looking), educational (parents love you for it), and kids actually want to play it (unlike most return gifts that get forgotten). Many customers order 5-10 units for parties. We offer bulk discounts for multiple purchases.

We live abroad (USA/UK/Canada). Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. NRI families are some of our biggest fans—this game helps kids born abroad connect with Indian culture in a fun way. Shipping typically takes 7-14 business days internationally. Way more effective than forcing them to watch Ramayan on YouTube.

What if my kid gets bored after playing once?

The variable Vardaan card draws and dice rolls make every game different. Plus, as kids get older, they develop better strategies and appreciate the mythology more deeply. Families report playing repeatedly for months. One customer said their family has played 50+ times and still pulls it out for game nights.

Is the quality actually good or will pieces break?

Premium wooden board with glossy finish, solid wooden pawns and die, quality cardstock cards built to last. This isn't flimsy cardboard that falls apart after three games. Multiple customers have mentioned the craftsmanship blew them away. It's built for hundreds of game nights.

How is this different from those Ramayan card games?

Card games are quicker but less immersive. This board game takes you through the full epic journey with five distinct stages, strategic gameplay, and the Vardaan power system that creates real tactical decisions. It's a complete experience, not just trivia questions. That said, our Game of Sets card game is great for shorter play sessions!

My parents (grandparents) want to play but don't speak much English. Is the rulebook in Hindi?

The rulebook is in English, but the gameplay is visual enough that language isn't a huge barrier. Plus, grandparents usually know the Ramayan stories better than anyone—they'll understand the mythology parts instantly. Many families tell us grandparents teach the kids the cultural context while kids help with reading the cards. Beautiful intergenerational bonding.
